The European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition is a great event that allows us to present our technical and certified leathers adapted to aeronautics every year.

This large-scale event takes place at Palexpo and at Geneva airport, where 50 aircraft will be open to the public. The two venues will be linked by free shuttles.

More than 400 professional and specialized aviation exhibitors will be present to showcase their latest products. More than 10,500 visitors are expected with a total of 111 countries represented.

Ecovadis evaluates in a certified way the Social Responsibility of the company by adapting to its sector of activity and its size. It is a multi-grade label that is internationally recognized. Ecovadis has tested more than 100,000 companies from 200 sectors in 175 countries.

Social responsibility is measured by taking into account the company’s contribution to sustainable development, ethics, the economy and the environment.

The EcoVadis rating is verified by a team of international experts;

This is the first time that the team submits its application and obtains a silver medal. This is a very encouraging result which, together with the identification of areas for improvement, should lead to further progress.

For a few weeks, the tannery has been under construction. The old electric press will be replaced by a new more recent press next month.

Careful handling work has been undertaken to first lift and remove the old machine, and then to prepare the site for the new press. After several lifting operations, the floor showed some defects. A new screed and the evacuation of several tons of rubble, will allow a flawless and solid installation.

A beautiful renewal which allows to perpetuate the know-how of the tannery.
