Renovation work has been carried out on the sewage pipe leading to our catchment basin. The pipe had shown some signs of weakness this summer. To prevent a possible leak, the entire pipe was replaced.

At the same time, the basin was completely emptied and thoroughly cleaned. When the retention basin is full, the wastewater is sent directly to the treatment plant.

We’re very satisfied with the work carried out by Dieudonné Terrassement, a company based in Le Thillot: a team of conscientious employees who did a very thorough job! We’d like to thank them!

Our first meeting back from the holidays will be on Monday 11 September at the Palais Brongniart in Paris. We’ll be there as visitors at the Sustainable Leather Forum. The first international event dedicated to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in the leather sector.

Over the course of an exceptional day, companies and international experts will take the floor through keynotes, round tables and debates, punctuated by networking sessions.

We’re looking forward to taking part in this meeting with a host of players including the Conseil National du Cuir, CTC, Leather Naturally, the Fédération Française de la Tannerie Mégisserie, etc.

It’s an event that should inspire us to adopt good and new practices in order to pursue and improve our CSR approach.
